Process Improvement Manager - Operational Excelence
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Quality and Laboratory project portfolio aligned with site priorities and strategic objectives.
- Drive PMO governance, ensuring clear charters, stage‑gates, reporting, and consistent project execution standards.
- Execute cross‑functional improvement projects that enhance compliance, reliability, speed, and cost effectiveness.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to strengthen laboratory performance and right‑first‑time results.
- Optimize resource and budget planning in collaboration with Finance and key stakeholders.
- Build continuous improvement capabilities through coaching, training, and structured problem‑solving routines.
- Define and track key performance indicators to inform decisions and resource allocation.
- Foster a strong Quality and continuous improvement culture through communication, engagement, and change leadership.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
- Fluent English communication skills, with Romanian language proficiency preferred for local collaboration.
- Experience delivering projects within a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
- Proven track record in process improvement within Quality, Quality Control, or laboratory operations.
- Strong capability in managing scope, performance indicators, and structured project planning.
- Skilled in applying Lean and Six Sigma tools, including structured analysis and problem‑solving methods.
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into clear operational decisions.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
