Pilot Plant Operator

Job Profile:

• Execute assigned manufacturing tasks and activities according to production schedule to enable the timely production of product with quality and quantity in compliance with the relevant GMP, HSE and environmental guidelines.
• Perform commissioning activities between warehouse and production according to process orders.
• Prepare, print and consolidate batch documents, labels; perform entries and verify transactions/declarations in SAP system.
• Execute inbound deliveries and sampling of incoming goods in the warehouse, in alignment with local procedures.
• Organize shipments for orders and perform outbound deliveries in the warehouse, including shipment organization of orders.
• Update and maintain data in SAP database.

Major accountabilities:

• Participation in manufacturing processes
• Execution of all assigned activities according to production schedule and in compliance with the valid GMP, work, operating, environmental and safety instructions and guidelines.
• Proper handling of products in the warehouse and adherence to HSE guidelines.
• Preparation of shipments according to NVS and GMP standards.
• Management of inbound and outbound deliveries and commissioning; updates in SAP.
• Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.

Key performance indicators:

• Deadlines: compliance with production planning, execution of tasks on time
• Quality: Amount of errors in production documents edited or updated and in batch record review
• Documentation according to our SOPs

Minimum Requirements:

Work Experience:

• Basic work experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse management preferred

Skills:

• Careful and exact execution of assigned tasks
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Reliability and willingness to take responsibility
• Resilience to changes
• Experience in SAP is a plus
• This position currently does not require shift work (subject to change in later phases of the project)

Languages :

• German and/or English – good writing skills required

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is €34,673.10/year (on a full time basis).
